To the Editor of The Wall Street Journal:

Ohio voters didn't vote against marijuana legalization. They voter
against giving only
one company a marijuana monopoly. One of the medications prescribed for
my wife
costs $100 a pill in the US and $1.00 a pill in the Philippines. Why the
huge price
difference? The US company has a monopoly and is the only company that
can legally
sell it here in the US.

To the Editor of The Virgin Islands Daily News:

I'm writing about Charles Stimson's not-so-thoughtful column: "Pot
legalization: Up in smoke"
(11-7-15).

The voters of Ohio did not vote against marijuana legalization. They
voted against giving
just one company a monopoly on the production and sales of marijuana.

One of the medications prescribed for my wife costs $100 a pill in the
US and $1.00 a pill
in the Philippines. Why the huge price difference? The US company has a
monopoly and is
the only company that can legally sell it here in the US.

To the Editor of The Arizona Republic:

There was no mention by Seth Leibsohn and Sheila Polk as to why they
want to keep cannabis
completely unregulated, untaxed and controlled and distributed by
criminal gang member.
("Colorado's problems reveal danger of legal pot") (11-9-15).

Also there was no mention about Colorado receiving more tax revenue from
legal cannabis
than they do from legal alcohol. Speaking of alcohol, if we were to
increase the tax rate
three or four fold, we would soon see a dramatic increase in illegal
alcohol distilleries.
Just like we did during the 1920's.
